Him.

He layed with me.

His chizzled arms clinged tightly to my soma, our legs intertwined like they were meant to do so.

And when I wrapped my arms around him to reach his bear back, my fingers were studying the grooves because it was new.

They rose up up up the crevice of his spine and off to the side to his shoulder blades, they tensed, they relaxed, as if his body was teaching him what safety felt like.

As my fingers glided back down his spine, his arms tightened around me, pulling closer. I could feel his heart beating seprately, and then in sync with mine.

Then I looked up and there were his eyes.

Staring deeply through me.

Without distraction.

And for a split second that terrified me, but for a whole minute that comforted me.
